About us

About us

We're the Leighton Buzzard Boardgames Club. We play modern tabletop boardgames and cardgames, such as Settlers of Catan, Terraforming Mars, and Carcassonne. We're open to a variety of games, so feel free to bring along your favourites! But if you want to try something new, many club members bring games from their collection and will be very happy to include new members.

Covid-19 update

Given the Covid-19 lockdown, we're moving our meetings online. Stay tuned for what this means and how to play.

Face-to-face meetings

Information for when we're back to meeting face-to-face.

We meet monthly on Saturdays at the Linslade Community Hall (also known as St Barnabas Church Hall). The meetings run from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Take a look at our shareable calendar of events for when we meet. It's normally the second Saturday of the month, but hall availability means we sometimes meet on a different week.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits are available and free throughout the day: just help yourself.

People of all ages are welcome, but under-16s will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We meet at the Linslade Community Hall (link to a map). The full address is

Linslade Community Hall
Waterloo Road,
Leighton Buzzard

The hall has wheelchair access, a disabled toilet, a step-free interior, and disabled parking spaces. The hall is just a few minutes' walk from Leighton Buzzard railway station (across the recreation ground).

Leighton Buzzard town centre is about 15 minutes walk away. There are several places selling food a bit closer, if you want to get your lunch there.
