December 2024 Meeting

Christmas is coming and members were in high sprits for the annual pitchcar tournament and a chance at winning one of 3 prizes. Pitchcar was played throughout the day with various players competing to get the lowest score in getting their car around the track.

Kicking off the morning, members started with games of Taverns of Tiefenthal with all of the base modules enabled and a couple from the inn expansion adding more complexity and depth to the game. Patchwork, Daybreak, John Company, Castles of Mad King Ludwig and Arcs also made it to a table for the morning.

After lunch (and more pitchcar!), players moved on to When in Rome, White Castle and Roll for the Galaxy. Dune Imperium and Dune Imperium: Uprising were played in tandem by different groups. Ticket to Ride and Innovation wrapped up the rest of the day.

Pitchcar ended with a 4 way tie for the 3 prizes. A second track was organised to decide the tie breaker.
